About The Listener

The Lisahally Listener was established in the summer of 2010 by Ryan Kelly, initially as a one-man blog presenting reports, interviews and analysis of all things Lisahally. The Listener, as it is affectionately known by Lisahally fans, aims to expand in the coming seasons and truly embed the fanzine into the community of Strathfoyle.

Ryan Kelly is a writer with a particular interest in Irish football. He has written extensively on the issue of FIFA national team eligibility, as well as the fortunes of both the senior and youth representative teams of the FAI. Kelly had a brief stint with Lisahally at the tender age of 16 and has retained a strong interest for his local team.

Former Lisahally player and manager, Rory Kirk also contributes occasional match reports where he gives his honest assessment of games, which have proven to be very popular among the Lisahally fan base.
